Warranty, Return, and Shipping Information
Warranty and Guarantee
All parts sold on RetechTV.com are extensively tested, are guaranteed to work properly, and carry a six month warranty against defect. If you experience any problems with your order, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can get you taken care of quickly. On the rare occasion that a defective part slips past us, we will send a replacement at no cost to you, and if we are unable to provide a replacement, we will send you a shipping label to return the defective part for refund. If you experience any problems with your part during the 180 day warranty period, please contact us to set up a warranty return so that we can repair or replace the item in question.
We completely understand that sometimes you may end up with a part you have no need for (customer cancellations, misdiagnosis, etc.), and we want you to know that you are not stuck with that part. We do accept returns for refunds or credit, and we don't have any associated restocking fees for returns. If you find yourself no longer needing something you purchased from us, just give us a call to set up an RMA number and you can send it back. We can't accept returns without an RMA, so be sure to call before sending your parts back. For the specific details of our return policy, please see below.
We offer all available services from both FedEx and USPS to provide you with a range of shipping options. USPS orders will generally ship out the day they are purchased as long as the order is placed by around noon Central time (USPS typically picks up from our building at 12:30), while you have until 4pm (sometimes later) for FedEx shipments to go out. In other words, all FedEx orders placed by 4pm Central time, and all USPS order placed by noon will ship out the same day they are purchased. The only exceptions to the same-day shipping guarantee are LCD/Plasma screens, and some larger stands. If you have an urgent shipping need, we do have the ability to get FedEx overnight requests for shipment in as late as 10pm Central time, so it is possible for you to place an order at 10pm one night and have your part by 8am the next day. If you need a quote for this service after hours, just call and leave a voicemail and someone will get back with you ASAP.
All of our parts ship from Memphis, TN, and the average delivery time for FedEx Ground is 2-3 business days for most areas of the Continental US. Shipments going to the West Coast sometimes take 3-4 business days using ground shipping. USPS Priority Mail delivery times are about the same. All customers will receive tracking numbers via email when an order is shipped, please keep in mind that USPS's tracking system is somewhat of a joke, so if real-time tracking is important to you, select FedEx, not USPS.
ReTechTV.com fills most orders the same day as the order is placed. Once an order is accepted, there is no guarantee the order may be cancelled. Any order that is not able to be cancelled must be accepted upon delivery and authorized for return following the policy listed below.
GENERAL RETURN POLICY
Returns must be authorized by contacting ReTechTV.com to obtain a Return Authorization Number within 30 days of product receipt. This Return Authorization Number must be written visibly and legibly on the outside of the package prior to sending the item back. Authorization does not guarantee credit. All returns must be sent back to ReTechTV.com packaged in the original anti-static packaging. ReTechTV.com will issue credit to the customer upon receipt of the return package following inspection of the returned merchandise. The customer's card may not be credited if inspection reveals damage, inadequate packaging (such as returns in an envelope instead of a box, boards wrapped in aluminum foil, and other silly or dangerous ways to ship fragile, static sensitive, electrical components), missing components, or incorrect reason for return. Authorized returns must be received by the warehouse no later than thirty days from the date of original shipment to the customer. Packages received thirty days after original shipment date may not be accepted and may subsequently be returned to the customer.
An unauthorized return is defined as any package returned to ReTechTV.com without the proper return authorization code on the outside of the package. Unauthorized returns may include any package refused by the customer during a delivery attempt. Unauthorized returns received by ReTechTV.com may be refused at the warehouse and returned to the sender. In this case, the customer may be held responsible for the cost of shipping the package back to the sender. Any credits issued may be delayed.
A refused shipment occurs when the customer refuses to accept the package during a delivery attempt. Customers who refuse delivery in place of contacting ReTechTV.com to obtain proper return instructions may be assessed a fee to cover return shipping and labor charges. This cost will be passed along to the customer in the form of a deduction from the total credit due to the customer. In addition, refused shipments may be considered an unauthorized return and subject to the policies thereof.
Credit will appear on the customer's statement within one to three weeks of the return being received by ReTechTV.com. Credit will be issued for part cost, tax, and shipping in the event of a defective return where a replacement was not available. Shipping may not be refunded for the return of merchandise other than a defective part, and shipping is not refundable on defective merchandise where a replacement was available and the customer refused the replacement.
RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES
ReTechTV.com may provide a pre-paid return label depending on the reason a return is requested. The customer is held responsible for all shipping fees where a pre-paid label is not provided.
